"Welcome Little One"

Here is a baby card that just had to be made.  Love the stamp set so much.  It is from Waltzing Mouse, and done here in Coastal Cabana from SU  and Turquoise Sea ink from Gina K .  The wee Swiss Dots embossing folder was used on this for texture.   Of course the Bitty Bling is from Close To My Heart.  Can find so many uses for those wee things.   Absolutely the best.

The dies to cut the basket and the frames it sits on are also from Waltzing Mouse.  The satin ribbon, is purchased in bulk and use the inks to die to the colours to match the cards.   Used dimensionals for popping it up and the beautiful red liner tape, also purchased in huge rolls.

Here is the inside.   Again with stamps from Waltzing Mouse.

Here is is in the Pixie Pink from Close To My Heart.   This is one of the beautiful bright new colours for the next two years.   Again, took the satin ribbon and used my ink pad to make it match.   The front on this one was not embossed, but thinking next one will.   Just wanted to try in the two colours nice and bright for wee ones, and see the difference.

Have a good one all, and enjoy.

Cheery Floral

Hi Everyone.  This is the card for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 78

Decided to go with a light cheery colour and again left where there should be a sentiment blank.
The colour ended up with is a close alternate to my much depleted GKD stock by using the Coastal Cabana from SU over an Ivory stock.

Then took an ivory piece, stamped it with a stamp from See D's deco background set, (a find on sale one day when at a store closing.) and Gina K Turquoise Sea Ink.   Took a while to think about it, as had never seen them, they are thin enough that two layers of them and paper fit into a slim CD case, and about 1 1/2" size and a few long and skinny, but with 16 in it, thought it well worth the try.   Glad that they were purchased as work beautifully.

This was adhered to the front panel of Coastal Cabana, an ivory ribbon from Elan around both and tied into a bow.

Next took a wee piece of each stock, layered, popped with the dimensionals which are so thin. and placed on the bottom right.  Now, what to put on it.  So looked about for things and decided on the wee flower punch again, and took, sponged the edges with the ink, added the Bitty Bling from Close To My Heart, swirled on the layer, and done.  !!

Just when making found out a friend is hospitalized, so know which sentiment is going on this in again the Turquoise Sea for a tone on tone look, and popping in the mail.

Here is the original sketch for you

Birds birthday card

This was a card done for a special person who loves all types of birds, and was trying to suit as not a fussy person at all.  And a masculine card.

After seeing this embossing folder decided it was a must have, and is from the new Crea'tions of Spellbinders.  Absolutely love the effect, and then decided to use the ivory and charcoal brown from Gina K

So, too the birthday saying wanted from the Joyful Birthday set from Close To My Heart, inked with Rich Cocoa Momento ink, and stamped in the upper right, then embossed the ivory.

Next was stamping the wee birds which remind me of some he has in the yard, so had to get this stamp set.  It is Wetlands from SU, and used this one of the set, again with the Momento Rich Cocoa, layered on the charcoal brown after sponging the edges.

It was probably the best or second best received according to the reaction with a request for one for another bird lover, so that made my whole week.

Hope you like it.   Simple, to the point, and the inside ivory was also embossed and then put my own message on it.   Edges were sponged with ink on it

Die cuts in blackberry and white

Sorry, all, this reverted to draft on here and just came to check and post another card.   oops. again.

Hi All.

Had to decide what to do, got out everything, did not like it, and ended up with this.  First tried Amuse Arts blackberry, embossed and got the white core.   Nope !!!.
Then went to the SU stock and pulled their blackberry and ended up with this embossed with the birds and branches folder.   Love that one,
Next came the Memory Box die for the twigs, the SU tiny punch for the flowers, and the Tim Holtz Seedless Preserves Ink.   Sponged around the wee flowers, added the beautiful tiny Itty Bitty Blings from Close To My Heart and that was the outside.

For the inside of course another layer of the blackberry with the white over, and some flowers sponged around and blinged in one corner.  Cannot leave the inside unfinished :)

So you can see, am beginning to use whatever takes my fancy for some cards, new inks, and just enjoying what am doing,   Of course a wee tag can always be put on the front for whatever occasion, but never do that until the card suits someone to send it to.  That way the card suits the person instead of the other way around.

So that is it for this challenge for the Atlantic Hearts Scetch Challenge 76
